Such an easy and delicious way to get veggies inI have a toddler who is not in love with most vegetables. This option gives us a way to sneak the veggies in without her knowing. I feel like if you're going to have pasta, you might as well get something good out of it besides just pure carbs. Thankfully the whole family loves pasta so we go through these pretty quickly. Subscribe and save has been great for the discount and the automation. In comparison to whole wheat pastas, the family likes these more because they are less grainy. With the whole wheat pasta, it always feels too dry and grainy even if it's past al-dente. But these are perfectly al-dente!Really great with vodka sauce, chicken breast and roasted veggies!5It's barilla...need I say more?I love this product. There is some taste to the pasta before adding sauce or other condiments. It's not bland tasting like some plain pasta. The price is good for the multi pack. I will be buying again.4Good choice for a picky eaterMy son loves this pasta. He is very limited in foods he will eat due to strong texture preferences so we try to sneak veggies and in as much as possible. My husband has dementia and at the stage he is in...he refuses to eat veggies of any kind, but loves spaghetti sauce with meat. It may be a little sneaky, but at least I know I am getting some veggies in him other than just tomatoes. I like them too. I cannot taste any difference in the flavor. This one is made with the zucchini and spinach, 2 vegetables I love. Now if they could just make the vegetables into pasta with NO wheat....that would be AWESOME!!! Would make them kajillionaires! But I'll eat this over regular pasta any day. I like the flavor. They use to make one with carrots but I haven't found it in awhile. I wish they would bring that one back too. As long as it is part of S&S, I'll be a buyer!!5It's what you'd expect... vegetable-infused pastaIs all pasta just like all pasta?Pretty much... this one, however, uses vegetables in its making. Of course, it doesn't replace the presence of whole, fresh vegetables, but how could it be un-beneficial to throw a few more nutrients into the process? Don't get super health-nut on me; I'm aware that vitamins and nutrients supply your body best when part of their original presentations (not when puree'd, mixed, dried, and re-hydrated), but you also have to admit that perhaps a few of those nutrients can manage the process. You can slightly taste a vegetal element in this pasta, but if your worried about your 5-year old who hates spinach... don't worry, the simplest of sauces will cover it up. But perhaps your a foodie, and you want to know if this changes the al dente texture and cooking time, etc. Well, a little bit. Sorry. I boil it for about 5 minutes (NOT 7), drain and cool, and there remains an element of 'not quite perfect' texture. I find it bearable... after all, if I was *that much* of a pasta snob I'd be cutting my own.For those of you who are mostly concerned with the packaging. Yes, there are a lot of them. If you're not going to cook a whole box, there's a tuck-close lid on the top... not that the freshness will alter that much in dried pasta. It should serve you and your family a good while. And since it's so easy to make... it could be the perfect after-school snack to teach your kids. I'd recommend teaching them to add a touch of salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.5Yummy pasta!I do love pasta. I'm really not hard to please. That being said, this is some yummy pasta. It has a subtle flavor; you don't get clubbed over the head with bitter veggie taste. The texture is good, not too rubbery. It goes best with a tomato sauce, but it can work with other sauces I've tried it with. I'm not sure if it's all that healthy (it's still made from refined flour). I don't eat it for the health benefits, but I do eat it for the flavor.5
