Little Cinnamon FlavorI ordered this because I really like flavored coffee. I love to have a cup of coffee before bed so decaf flavored coffee is always welcome. There is no flavor of cinnamon in this coffee. The coffee itself is good not burnt tasting like Starbucks but if you are looking forward to a rich tasting snack, it is disappointing.May 20th 2019 I have now have a concern with this. The k cups have exploded all over my Keurig at least 50% of the time I have used them. I do not have this issue with other brands, so I do not intend to buy any more Brooklyn Beans coffee. I get a message that these are not "Keurig approved" cups on my coffee maker. I cannot say that whether that is the issue but cleaning coffee grounds out of the cup holder, coffee maker and surrounding area of my counter is reason enough for me to not use them. Then I end up rinsing all the grounds out of every nook and cranny of the coffee maker.1Not greatI tried this coffee because it was available for Subscribe and Save, but it's really terrible. Only vaguely tastes like coffee. I'm bummed.Edited to add: I notice the makers respond to every review but don't actually say anything useful about the content of the review, or offer any help or refund. What's up with that?1Packs a punch of great flavorI was desperately on the hunt at Christmas for a gingerbread syrup or coffee since I was on a HUGE gingerbread kick this year. I never found any in store, but my sister bought me a box of Gingerbread man, and it was awesome! I just ran out so went to check out what other coffees they had on offer.I was SO excited to see such a variety of flavored coffees available in DECAF! As soon as I saw it I immediately ordered the variety pack. I really enjoy these flavors so much.Out of the variety, the cinnamon is hands down my favorite. It's both a subtle and forward cinnamon flavor, and fuhgeddaboudit is so great at helping tackle sweet cravings at night.Great coffee, great selection and I'm so stoked to have discovered you!5Sorry, but not a decaf worth drinkingSwitching to decaf I knew that trying to even come close to the dark roasted flavor and "bite" of a non-decaf coffee would be next to impossible. The Brooklyn Beans "dark roast" decaf was a huge disappointment -- tasting like a watered-down version of a light regular blend. Of the many decaf coffee brands that I have tried, this ranks up there with the least flavorful and has no "body" to speak of. On the other hand, the Tully's French Roast decaf is at the opposite end of the spectrum with a full-body taste and a slight bite of a non-decaf cup of coffee. Maybe Brooklyn Beans regular coffees are good, but as for decaf, I won't be buying it again - Sorry.2Not For Us But You May Love ItMy wife drinks decaf, and with the disappointing news that Tully's French Roast decaf has been dropped from Subscribe and Save, we tried this as a replacement. We have no objective criticisms of this product, but our subjective conclusion is that this one's not for us! It has neither the full body and depth, nor the bitterless, rich, bold flavor of the Tully's. My wife described the flavor as medicine like! Anyway, after three "doses" over three days without development of a tolerance, we tried to return it. Amazon understandably does not accept returns on this type of product but, as always, they found a very fair solution. What were two Pacific Northwesterners thinking when they ordered coffee from Brooklyn anyway? Doh1Taste great! BUT..... (See update)Taste GREAT! BUT..... They will NOT work in my Keurig. I press the 10oz cup and it will brew half the cup before it stops up and starts boiling grounds out. It's definitely the pod because I can brew any other pods I have except these... And I'm talking about, I take the Brooklyn out and put any other brand in and it will brew without incident. It's a shame cause I REALLY REALLY like the flavor of the Brooklyn coffee.UPDATE: I have been refunded the cost of these pods and allowed to keep them. I put them away above my fridge with hopes of finding someone I could give them to, or find a way to use them successfully. Yesterday, while at my local HT, I found some disposable empty k-cups and thought perhaps they may work. I tossed them in my basket and as I was walking past the coffee grinder, I noticed a plastic reusable k-cup (I have 2 already and they didn't fit my Keurig and I haven't had any luck on Amazon finding one that would.) I opened the package bottom and it looked like everything would line up. Got home and BAM! PERFECT FIT! I broke out one of those bad pods, cut it open, emptied it into the plastic one and set it up to brew in the morning. I'm enjoying my favorite coffee right now! I know this doesn't fix the fact that the pods stopped up and boiled over every time I brewed, but getting my money back, keeping the product and finally getting to indulge in some of the best flavored coffee was worth telling someone about!3Tastes really good but clogs up my needle and the KeurigThis was the only cinnamon decaf coffee that I could find in a K-Cup and I was more than thrilled to have it. It is a really tasty cup of coffee with fairly strong cinnamon notes. I had to come off caffeine and this was a good solution for by cinnabon coffee addiction. The only thing that I don't care for is that the grind is made so That it continuously clogs up my Keurig 2.0 needle. It leaves lots of coffee grounds in the bottom of my cup as well. The taste is great but I hate having to unclog my needle. there's not another decaf cinnamon that I can find so I'm just going to have to deal with it I guess but I wish the company would fix that problem. I rarely have a blend that clogs up my needle like this.3Wonderful!I was DELIGHTED to see that Brooklyn Beans had a decaf variety pack. This is, without exception, my favorite brand of coffee. The ONLY disappointment is that I don't see this variety pack readily available! I ordered before it was in stock and, two weeks later, it's out of stock again! I find most decaf coffees to be bitter. This one is not. It's every good as its Brooklyn Beans caffeinated counterpart. I'll be stocking up the next time it's in stock!5Clogs your Keurig!I would give this flavor five stars because it smells and tastes so good! I love flavored coffee, but I drink a lot of decaf. I really wanted to love this coffee. The problem is that it clogs the needle of my Keurig multiple times during EVERY time I brew a cup. Why is this? Is it ground incorrectly? I have never had a problem with any other brand of k-cups, even those that I did not purchase at keurig.com. I will not buy this again because it's a pain to have to reset the k-cup multiple times during every brew in order to get a full cup, and then to have to do a "cleansing" brew to clear out the machine. Also, you pretty much have to chew the last couple of swallows because of all of the grounds! Lovely flavor, but no, thanks.2Great if you like coffee grounds in your cup; these leak coffee grounds all over the place.My main problem with these pods is that they leak grounds - badly. Almost every cup has loose coffee grounds in it, and I have to keep cleaning the stray grounds out of my Keurig so it doesn't clog. When I remove the spent cup from the keurig, I have to be sure to cover the puncture with my finger immediately - or it drips soggy coffee grounds all over the place.Also, the flavor leaves a lot to be desired. I don't really taste the cinnamon. They're not bad coffee pods - just rather bland for a flavored coffee. I will not buy these again.2
