helps with anti slip and noise on hard floorsI have had trouble wearing heels because of foot and ankle surgeries. Now that I am back wearing them I make a LOT of noise, I sound like a pony when I walk across hard floors. This product helped me immensely with this problem and embarrassment. I would definitely purchase this product again and if anyone else has this problem besides needing an anti slip pad I highly recommend these shoe pads. 5Keeps my shoes from slippingI bought this because my new shoes were very slick and had no traction-- I actually slipped while trying them for the first time. So far the Catwalk Clawz are still in place and I can walk around confidently without fear of slipping. It does attract a lot of hair from the floor too :) 5The grip itself is excellent, except the adhesive used to stick it doesn't ...I followed all the instructions to the letter. The grip for the heel of the shoes fell out on the first day, but that was ok because the grip for the sole of the foot stayed on. The grip itself is excellent, except the adhesive used to stick it doesn't last. It's been a month now and the grip on the sole is slowly slipping away. About half of the grip slipped away and i had to use a scissor to cut the area that was hanging off the side.On the upside, the grip itself is excellent for the rain. 3You'll need goo goneGlad I waited to review because they worked GREAT for 2 weeks, then both shoes grips bunched and slid off within a day of each other. I followed all of the instructions and still they did not last. When I removed them to throw away, a VERY STICKY shoe remained. I am now a walking vacuum cleaner. I have enough hair on the bottom of my shoes to make a wig. I am doing an application of goo-gone as I type this. My brand new shoes did not have tread so perhaps it would have stuck better if they had. Then again I wouldn't have needed the product in that case. Not happy with the maker of this shoe either but that's another review. 2Poorly designed, doesn't stay on shoes.I really wanted these to work. I have boots that are super slippery on tile and hardwood floors. I followed the instructions and cleaned and dried by shoe bottoms off before I placed these. Sadly, these stayed on for maybe an hour before they started to come off the bottom of the boots and stick to everything. I had to peel them off after that. Didn't even get a night's use out of them. 1I have purchased so many Catwalk Clawz over the past ...I have purchased so many Catwalk Clawz over the past couple of seasons that I lost track. I don't know what I would do without them. I live in San Francisco amongst steep, sometimes slippery hills & NEED traction. As long as you place these on the bottoms of your shoes when they're new (i.e. clean), press them firmly to the surface & give them at least 24 hours to set, you're golden. 5Don't recommend for use with low-heel ankle boots or for those of us who walk like elephantsThese are a great concept, but they wore out within two weeks of putting them on the bottom of my boots (the suede type you'd be equally okay with wearing to a casual office or a bar after work). The pads have turned into kind of a mushy mess. Maybe I walk like pachyderm; maybe the weight distribution of the boots was just not right for the material; maybe I somewhat misunderstood their intended application and use. But the sole of the boots I applied them to is completely featureless, and I followed the application directions to a T. For all intents and purposes, they should have done a little more.They worked well for about 5 days and then started to deteriorate. They also did not go through any inclement weather or unusual terrain. :/ 3SAVE YOUR MONEYIt smudged off my shoe after only 20 minutes of moving around. It wasn't recoverable, it smudged off and wrinkled and folded up into a disaster. I applied it exactly according to the directions and even let sit for 2 days before wearing the shoes. The part for the heel is so oddly shaped you have to end up using scissors to cut it wayyyy smaller. All in all this was the worst thing I've ever spent money on 1I cannot believe they would make shoes like that and didn't see it in the photos onlineMy shoes had absolutely no traction on the bottom and I was stunned. It's incredible because these don't even cover the bottom of my heels, they cover about 50% of the area, but I will not be slipping with these on my shoes, ever. 5So far I love them. The first time I tried to wear ...So far I love them. The first time I tried to wear a pair of new heels I just bought I put them on in the house and immediately slipped (and I was on carpet!). I just put on the anti-slip protectors, put on the same pair of heels and YES! I didn't slip at all. I was even stable the kitchen tiles. The only thing now that might make me change my review is if protectors don't stay on for a reasonable amount of time. 5
