Very well made, but be aware of your calf measurementsThese are the first compression socks I purchased after trying out a couple pair my wife had (totally different brand). I bought them to prevent leg swelling in the evenings, as well as to help with running/shin splits/etc.These socks do seem very well made and provide a LOT of compression. I wear a size 10 shoe (sometimes 10.5), and took a gamble that the large would be big enough for my rather girthy calves (which are 17"-17.5" in circumference)...my calves are so big my thighs look small...genetically muscly calves I guess.I should have gone with the XL since top band on these ends up being a bit lower than 'knee high' and makes the muscle tender if I wear them for an entire day.They are still fully usable for shorter activities so I don't intend to exchange them. If you feel like you have really big calves, you may want to go a size up. 4Great color, sturdy fabricI am a nurse and fairly active, so I wanted to get some compression socks to minimize leg fatigue at the end of a long shift or workout. These shipped quickly and without issue. I have 14.5 inch calves and got a large. I will probably return for a smaller size. They just don't seem to compress as much as they should. The fabric seems sturdy. There are areas with more give for your calves. These are super cute. Can't wait to wear them for a workout :) 5Amazing Compression SocksI am a Registered Nurse and spend the greater part of a 12 hour shift on my feet. I have been wearing Nurse Mate support socks for years. My son who is also a nurse was having chronic lower back and leg pain, he tried a number of shoes and socks but none of them helped. When Rick told me how much pain relief he had after using Mojo Compression Socks I was still skeptical but figured I had nothing to lose by trying a pair. I purchased one pair and by the end of my second shift I realized that I was pain free, not only did my legs feel great but I was amazed to find that the nagging lower back pain I chalked up to old age was also gone. Of course I had to return to Amazon and buy 4 more pair. Anyone who has to stand for long hours should try Mojo. I have told all my co-workers about Moja, many of them have started wearing these socks and have had the same reaction. They are tricky to put on but once you have them on you never want to take them off. 5Use the chart, best fitting I've foundI was looking for socks that didn't go past my knee. I'm 5'10" and wear an US 11 men's shoe. I used the product size chart and fell into the medium group measuring ankle and calf. These are the best comp socks I have purchased so far. The fit is great, they look good, and they don't go past my knee. Highly recommended, use the chart. 5The best- particularly if you like nice and thickI use these for swelling of the feet and legs following knee surgery. I've purchased 4 different brands and the Mojos are the thickest I've had, much thicker that the Walgreen's product. The Mojos and other compression socks take a bit of work to get on, but the Mojo's feel sturdy and I have no fear of them ripping, though it is good to roll them up a little and pull/roll them up your foot and up leg. I have washed them in the washer on the ecowarm setting, which is probably like a "tepid" setting. I've also dried them 2-3x in the dryer and all seems well. The foot edema was pretty big following surgery (I could only fit one pair of my shoes- slip ons)- I ordered the medium based on calf size as recommended, they seemed a little tight and uncomfortable. I kept them and ordered the large size and wore the large for awhile. However after the edema got better a reverted back to the medium size. All in all these are great socks. 5Great FitI bought a pair of these in a medium two months ago and, though the compression was great, they were a little short and only came slightly above my calves. I love the style and great compression of Mojo socks so I recently decided to buy another pair BUT this time I ordered a large and they actually come to my knees with the same great compression. I suggest those that have ordered the medium in the past to go a size up and order the large if they were too short. I will be buying these in additional colors. 5Best sock I have ever owned, truly a miracle and great lookingMojo compression sock are something that someone put a lot of time and thought into. I waited better than a week before writing this review. I had a pulmonary embolism from a steel beam falling off a trailer onto the cafe of my leg, the clot was server and almost killed me, I was on blood thinners without a blood disorder, I opted on my own to get off the (rat poison) but needed anti-embolism socks or a well chosen Compression sock due to the permanent damage to my blood vessels . THESE SOCKS ARE SO FAR BEYOND MY EXPECTATION, I have been trying different ones for 7 years, the best were about (anti-embloism) were about 35.00 or more, and in my opinion, don't last as long as these. I have used an online version and pulling them on can damage them too. the problem had been when the sock works and fits, the top of the sock, the band hurts and often times cuts and bleeds, and itches ferociously (most know what I'm talking about) My shoe size was considered a large, but I bought the extra large, wise choice, the top band seemed as if it would be too tight, but it surprised me, and is more comfortable than I ever thought it would be. The varying placement of tighter material and lighter material, such as the shin, makes them extremely comfortable. after more than a week I can say after 7 years of searching these are it. An added bonus, I have three screws in my other ankle and after wearing low top work shoes, or sneakers, they tend to wear to the outside and shoes have to be replaced (except high tops) since these things come in pairs and they look great, they have worked as an unexpected support for that area where that ankle needs support where the screws are, these have provided a nice cure and a great feeling I haven't felt in years on that ankle. Lastly, other socks are hard to put on and instruction of using a rubber glove to get them in the right location, these can be pulled up (like rolling them up the leg) but most of all taking them off, these are easy, just pull them from the top, (inside out) and they come off easy, but if you try to put a finger or a thumb in to stretch them it won't work and can damage the socks, I wash in cold and dry in air dry, I love these things, "Finally" something that works, and cost less too, and stylish; this is a product I stand behind 100% and you can ask me anything and I'll be glade to tell you more. 5Best compression socks ever. Repeat customerI first tried these socks last year, after trying numerous different brands of compression socks/stockings/hose over the years. Working on my feet as a nurse takes its toll, and every brand I have tried in the past was inadequate. They were always, ALWAYS falling down, so annoying...rolling down, and/or just lost their compression power in just a few washes. These are the first brand I've found that stay put ALL DAY LONG!!! I've never had to pull them up or adjust them at all, I don't even have to think about them other than putting them on or taking them off. They make my legs feel great, like a gentle hug all day. I only bought a couple pairs to start off, to make sure I really loved them before investing $20/pair for a bunch. My legs & feet definitely feel so much better when I've worn them to work than when I haven't worn them. I think I now have 9 or 10 pairs of them in various colors. They last wash after wash without losing their oomph or falling to pieces. 5Amended statement Awesome socksHaving been buying all the top brands of compression socks recently I was excited to try these mojo socks. Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed. They are a good, comfortable sock just nothing really special about them.* Okay so after many months with a good variety of the top branded compression socks I have to correct myself.So I wasn't blown away, well that's true but I am more than impressed at this point. I was looking too hard at the wrong things at first.At this point having spent many many days with each brand I've come to realize what one should be focused on when buying compression socks.ComfortTrue graduated compressionDurabilityOverall effectivenessIn terms of all the above mojo rings truest. There are a few brands that have features I still am more impressed with in theory, a few I like more aesthetically but none I go looking for as much as I do the mojo socks. Their the sock I go to on heavy/long work days and anytime I'm already tired or sore. They never fail. Others do, and I end up with the mojos on to save the day. I've had other brands simply give out and rip when putting them on, and others that simply lost their elasticity much quicker than the mojo socks.None of the various other big name compression socks worked as well, lasted as long nor were as high quality as the mojo's.I bought all the socks I'm comparing here within a week or so of each other and wore them all as evenly as possible. Washed and dried according to each companys instructions and clearly by reading my initial review I did not favor the mojo socks at all. They have changed my mind and made me more aware of spending time with a product before leaving reviews. Some things need more than a few weeks some don't. 5These are the best sock that I have ever put on and I ...After having a motorcycle accident I mangled my foot and had to have plastic surgery to remake me a shin to cover my bone. They told me that I would always have swelling and would need to either wrap with an ace bandage or use compression socks. These are the best sock that I have ever put on and I have tried several. I tried sleeves with separate foot compression but these socks work wonderfully. They do have tight compression but that is what I was looking for. I wish they had these in a lighter material for summer as these are thick but I love them. 5
