It s okIt sticks to the skin and is painful when removing, probably wouldn t purchase again 3Check the dates on UPC. First roll was great - the second two were not!I have tried other brands of kinesiology tape that seem to stick at first, but then when I purchased them again, they would just come right off. I think there may be quality control issues. I ordered a first roll of this black tape and it stuck GREAT. I was very excited, because when this tape sticks, it does help my pain. Being very satisfied with my first roll, I then ordered two other rolls. These two rolls came from two different vendors, and NEITHER stuck. They peeled right off. When I looked more closely at the boxes, I saw something on the UPC strip that looked like either a manufacture date, or an expiration date. If it was an expiration date, both of my tapes were past the expiration. So, if you get this tape and it sticks, lucky you! If you get it and it falls right off, look at the date on the box and consider contacting the seller. I need to do that with my two rolls that did not stick. Good luck! 2Superior tape!Here's my experience with kinesiology tape: while in the midst of rehabbing from a knee replacement, I thought I might try some support tape to help with the pain during and after physical therapy, and to assist with mobility and proper alignment. While at a chain off-price retailer, I spotted a box of KT tape that was marked at a significant discount to what I had noted it sold for where I normally shop. So I thought I'd give it a try, and it helped. When I needed a second box, however, I couldn't find it at the same store, but instead found a box of Mueller tape, so I bought it instead. I think the Mueller tape is considerably better, as others here have noted. For one thing, it stretches better and stays put better. The support is great; although I will note that I don't use the knee-taping technique in the Mueller instructions, I still use the KT- method, which I just find easier. I think the difference with the Mueller tape is you will notice a wavy-line pattern on the adhesive side of the tape, which I think makes it stay on better. It is very comfortable once on; I'm wearing it right now as I type this, and I don't even feel it. I don't leave it on more than one day; I'd rather remove it to shower and put on fresh tape the next day, so I don't wear it at night, although I suppose you could. I tried wearing it once when I went lap-swimming, but it started coming off after a few laps, so I can't recommend it for that. But otherwise, it's been very helpful for me. It can be a little tough to remove (like a stuck-on band-aid), and being female, I shave my legs. So I imagine guys would want to shave before using this anywhere they have much body hair. I should also note that Mueller is a more cost-effective product than the KT brand, in my experience. 5Very flexible and comfortable at a great priceThis really works! Stays in place and adheres to the skin until you remove it. Btw, I have no problem removing this tape without any oils and it doesn't hurt, I remove it slowly. Be careful to clean the area well with an alcohol swab or the tape will not stay snug. Also, be sure you place this tape EXACTLY where you want it and do not remove and reapply more than twice or it will not stick as long. Very flexible and comfortable at a great price. I will buy again! 5DurableThis was a first time use for me. I was looking for sorting to ease the pain in my should due to a torn rotator cuff. I wasn t sure how this would support that but I m pleased to say that I m pleasantly surprised. I have had it on for two days and will wait one more before I take it off. It has lasted through sweat, heat and showers. If I need to, I would repurchase. 5Tape stays put!Great product! I get great support and relief when I use it. I play team sports, I run, Zumba, lift weights and I work 12hr shifts as a nurse. Tape makes all of those things so much more manageable. Last for days if applied appropriately. I like to scrub area with alcohol to ensure no oil. I shower and soak with tape on with no problems. Usually only have to reapply if it gets caught on my pants or if I get lotion or oil on it. If you are looking for functional relief and braces wont work for your active lifestyle this is the solution. It does contain some rubber. Mild irritation with latex allergy. 5Works well, changed my life because now I can do thingsIt works VERY well on my knees (patellar tracking issues). Greatly reduced pain and flexible enough to do the activities I love. I find it sticks well and lasts 3-4 days, even with showers and hard physical activity. The only thing that really reduces adhesion is bug spray. If it's not sticking well for you: prepare the skin by wiping thoroughly with alcohol. Then use a "Skin Prep" wipe to apply adhesive and protect the skin. Let dry a few seconds before applying the Mueller tape. Skin Prep is intended to create an adhesive bond with the application and protect the skin. When removing, start with a corner that's coming loose. Use a "Uni-Solve" pad to gradually soak the tape off, then if you are going to reapply the Mueller tape, clean thoroughly with alcohol, then use "Skin Prep" again. I learned this method of adhering when I had a medical port that required dressing changes. Both "Skin Prep" and "Uni-Solve" are available here on Amazon, and I also suggest getting large size alcohol wipes. In addition, I have also cut small squares of Mueller tape that I put on over edges that come loose as I'm biking, etc. It's worth all this trouble--and it's also worth the questions and stares I get from people about the tape on my knees. Life is short, I want to do things. 5Horrible tapeThere is big problem with the glue they use.It is almost impossible to remove this tape. When I finally removed the tape, it left chemical burns on my skin. I would never buy this product again. 1Hardly stays on for a day.I understand that hands are the hardest to have tape stay on because you use your hands for everything, but even if I hardly did anything with them the tape would still peel back or thread off. The MAIN reason why I picked this bran over others, is because it had no logo on the tape and was a low price. I didn't want to bring attention to my hands. There is a big fat logo on every piece. The tape does relieve some pain, but I will not be purchasing these again. 3Not as good as it used to beI bought my first roll of Mueller tape (same packaging as this one) 8 years ago, along with their bulk roll which I was told was a lesser quality. I bought it at a chiropractor supply store. The clerk said to use this one when I needed it to stay for a week or so. And use the bulk roll if I only needed it to stick for an activity (for me it was dance). 8 years later I used my second to last strip of the better tape and bought this one from Amazon. When I compare that last strip with this one, I can visibly see the difference. This one is more of the quality of that bulk roll I bought 8 years before. I used some last night 3 hours before bed and I found one of the pieces balled up under my pillow this morning. I ve also used the KT Pro Tape from Target, which is awful. This tape is one step above that, but is not what it used to be. It sticks fine enough to my skin, but when you need it to stick to itself (I.e., layering or crossing) forget about it. 3
