Great tea!Great tea! Always consistently good too. I think I've ordered this four or five times now, and I'm always happy to drink it.Update 201803 - another happy purchase here. The product continues to be very good and I will continue to buy this!5To tea or not to tea?I can drink tea once in a while , but I got bored with the usual lifeless flavors. My daughter introduced me to spiced chai tea and I was hooked! I was looking on line for a better brand when I found Vadham teas. First I ordered the spiced Chai and oooohhhh it is heavenly! Chai Tea Latte is my favorite treat of the day! Then because I have inflammation issues and heard that turmeric is a good natural rememdy, I decided to try the Turmeric Spice Chai , and it delivers the same beautiful flavor as all Vadham products do. The packaging is elegant, the tea is top notch, and I will drink no other brand. Indulge people! You will not regret it!!!5Delicious cup of teaI ordered five different kinds of teas from Amazon that were produced by Vahdam as I am a avid tea drinker and I drink several pots of tea per day. I have to say that I love all of the teas except one, the english breakfast tea, but the Assam Applause, the Darjeeling, the Earl Grey and the Oolong tea are all exceptional. I just returned from a week long business trip and the first thing that I wanted to do was have a cup of the delicious Darjeeling tea, I was thinking about this cup of tea while I was on my trip. The Assam is just as stated above, it is strong, bold and rich, which in my book means very flavorful, and I am sure that is why I was disappointed in the English Breakfast tea as I like a very strong cup of tea in the morning and I was previously drinking another well known brand of Artisan English Breakfast tea and this other brands was a richer and tastier. I was worried about ordering a Oolong from a Indian tea company as I have had no experience with Oolong tea from India, I usually purchase Oolong when I am in Taiwan, and I particularly like Jin Xuan, Dong Ding Oolong as well as Alishan mountain tea, and I happy to report that I love the Oolong tea from Vadham as well. It is really a great cup of tea. The Earl Grey tea is just as described and the cup of tea is so aromatic and flavorful, believe me you have never had such a good cup of Earl Grey.5Turmeric Citrus Spice is delightfully warm and complexThe Turmeric Citrus Spice tea is delightfully warm and complex. I drink a fair amount of turmeric tea for the health benefits, and this is my favorite that I've tried. It's an intense flavor, but I think if you like strongly flavored tea--chai, Earl Grey, etc.--you'll enjoy this one.5Great FlavorDon't know what else I can say. I discovered this Vadham Blue Mountain after trying one of their Green Tea Samplers. I was using one of the Himalayan teas which I really liked. However, after a side by side I decided to go with the Blue Mountain, even though the price is a good bit higher per cup. I will describe one criticism: the instructions recommend one teaspoon for a 6 oz cup. The texture of the dried leaves is such that the do not collect effectively in a teaspoon and therefore, you cannot get the recommended 2 grams dry weight. Obviously, the easy fix I came up with was to weigh it each time. It actually is taking over 2 tsp to get to that weight. This doesn't diminish my 5-star rating. Just letting everyone know that you may want to weigh your blue mountain and make sure your spoon collects the desired amount.5Good tea, but very weak, and expensiveMy wife drinks tea more than I, but she doesn't do reviews. We both think this is a good tea, but we both also find it very weak. It barely even tints the water at the recommended amount. If you let it steep longer to allow it to darken, it gets bitter. I recommend using 1.5 - 2 times the amount prescribed in the in the directions if you like a strong tea, and by all means, do not allow it to steep longer than a few minutes. Well, that is, unless you prefer a bitter tea. In which case have at it. My wife both prefer their Himalayan green tea to this, and you get twice as much for the price. this is a bit costly for a 25 cup bag, especially if you have to use extra.4Best Tea EVER! Oprah is a SMART lady!!! :)I mean, how could one go wrong with anything that Oprah loves? (she's amazing ... I'd give her a 5-star review too if we were able to do that ... her AND Ellen, right?? ;) ) Anyway, I've ordered several different Vahdam teas now (started with the Turmeric Ashwagandha and just ordered 3 other varieties because I loved it so much) ... truly FRESH tea and amazing flavor - and I'm really not a "tea" person (I love lattes that I make fresh every morning), but now I am! If you are a tea lover (or even if you aren't) ... TRY IT - you won't be disappointed!!5I really liked the way it came packaged for ultimate freshnessThis aromatic tea is so comforting, delicate and delicious. I have shared with several people who will be buying also! Sooo good. I add raw honey and a little but of unsweetened vanilla almond milk for a little creaminess. I wish I brought some with me today because now I am craving it!!5Turmeric Spice Tisane: soooooooooo good!!!This vacuum-packed loose tisane is mind-bogglingly delicious. Huge salute to the expertise and entrepreneurial genius of the Vahdam team for growing and equitably sourcing such high quality ingredients, and for developing such clever packaging designed to maintain maximum flavor not only until the customer opens the package, but as they store it themselves. The box includes the vacuum-packed tea, plus a resealable bag to ensure that you can keep it fresh after opening (if you don't already have your own system of tea-preserving containers), plus a little booklet of information about the tea and how best to store it and brew it.Words cannot express the deliciousness of this simple tisane: turmeric, cardamom, black pepper and cloves combine in a buttery smoothness of incredibly rich flavor. The freshness of the tea because of the vacuum-packing makes the flavors of the ingredients beautifully vivid. We like to drink it with nutpods brand unsweetened dairy free creamer, or some almond or cashew milk (my wife is lactose intolerant, hence the dairy-freedom). The tisane also stands up to multiple brewings. Next I need to brew it chai-style, cooking it on the stove in half-and-half milk and water and straining it into the cups.We got this through Subscribe & Save, and we will definitely be trying more tea varieties from Vahdam. I cut open the vacuum-packed bag and put it in my tea tin, since that is easier to spoon from than the resealable bag provided in the box. I *love* that they provide the resealable bag! I didn't need it this time, but it is a major gesture toward maintaining the high quality of the product.Note that as so often happens on Amazon, there is some mismatch between the item title, the description, and the actual item received. I received a set of two boxes labeled Turmeric Spice Herbal Tea Tisane, with an ingredients list of turmeric, cardamom, black pepper, and cloves, and I could not be happier! I hope that future deliveries remain the same.5Know what you are buying -- read carefully. This is Turmeric Lemongrass, NOT ChaiThey need to either rename this tea, or give the listing another title, because it's very confusing. This is the Turmeric, Ginger, and Lemongrass variety. If you are looking for Turmeric Chai, so you can make golden milk or a turmeric latte on the stove, this is NOT it. You instead need the Turmeric Pepper variety. This tea is mostly lemongrass and ginger, with chai spices, and a little turmeric sprinkled throughout. It is very tasty though, so I gave it 4 stars despite it NOT being what I wanted to buy. That's my fault, because I was going by the name and not the ingredients, and I didn't know until AFTER I'd made my purchase that the actual Turmeric Chai was sold under another name. Buy this tea if you want a very spicy, lemony, warming beverage. There's no way it can stand up to milk though and made in a pot on the stove the traditional way...it doesn't have nearly enough turmeric in it for that. If you're reading this Vahdam...rename this to Turmeric Lemongrass. It's more accurate and less confusing.4
